SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Centre for Banking and Finance will be accepting submissions on a rolling basis on insolvency law, banking law, capital markets, law, corporate governance, RBI Policies for bank lending and any other topic within the scope of banking and finance laws.
  • Submissions can be in the form of articles, opinions, case comments and short notes on the above mentioned themes. Articles which have contemporary relevance in these themes will be preferred and shall stand a higher chance of selection. 
  • Students currently pursuing an LL.B (Hons.)/LL.B. /LL.M. from a recognized university, faculty members, legal practitioners and academicians in the field of law are eligible to send in their entries.
  • The word limit for the manuscripts is between 1000-1500 words. 
  • The main body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and in 1.5 line spacing. The footnotes must conform to the Bluebook citation method (19th or 20th edition) and should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and in single line spacing. End notes are not to be used.
  • Kindly note that the word limit is exclusive of footnotes. Strict adherence to the word limit is highly advised.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format only.
  • Manuscripts should contain content that is both original and unpublished. Articles which are heavily plagiarized shall be disqualified from the publication process.
  • All submissions must be accompanied by a covering letter mentioning submission category, title of manuscript, institutional affiliation and contact details of the author(s).
  • Joint submission of two co-authors is allowed.
  • The body of the manuscript should not contain any personal details of the author(s), so as to enable anonymous screening and peer-review.
  • Submissions are to be made only in electronic form. They are to be sent cbf@slsh.edu.in.
  • The subject of the email should be in the following format: “CBF Blog Submission – Article Name” 
  • Kindly adhere to the aforementioned guidelines. Any alternate form of formatting is not necessary. Failure to follow the above mentioned points may result in disqualification.
